"My name is Ella and I have bipolar, PTSD and anxiety. I sketched this piece during a manic episode, in which I didn't sleep for 9 days straight. I hadn't picked up a pencil in 5 years, since when I attended secondary school. I came to the realisation that I could exhibit on paper what I was feeling inside my head. I feel this helped me to connect to those around me, to give them some insight into what I deal with, and hopefully something that they could also relate to."
