"This piece represents my constant battle with Borderline Personality Disorder, addiction, and Major Depression. I wanted to show the severe emptiness and despair that is felt by borderline sufferers. Rather than judging us and assuming we're evil, people need to realize that we are in constant emotional turmoil and are doing our best to cope with the severe emptiness and lack of connection we feel to the outside world. I wanted to show what it's like to live inside my head. Not for pity, but understanding. I hope this piece helps you understand our plight a bit more.
