Illumination - Eve Williams

"I suffer from a very aggressive and painful form of rheumatoid arthritis. Because of this I have gone through periods of depression, especially in my late twenties and early thirties. At one point I had given up on music until someone suggested I would feel better if I pursued the things I loved. I found that to be true, and that is really the genesis of this song. It's a song about transformation, and in essence recovery in that it's about reclaiming the things you dreamed about. When you are depressed you think they are gone forever, but depression is a liar."
