Up:down - Susan Sleigh

Suddenly my emotions swing

Feeling your words puncture, they sting

Crushing my heart, it breaks

You, all you do is take

Why do I have to feel so sore?

As you act all holy and pure

Here I stand, all alone

With You, holding the first stone

So sharp, it will radiate

My tears hold all your hate

Left alone, I dry my eyes

No more pain, I say goodbye.
